Importing students via SpreadSheet

Set up your virtual classroom in minutes by uploading your class lists to Edumate using our pre-build SpreadSheet.

  1. From the students page, create a new class or select an existing one.
  2. Click on the ‘Add Students’ action button.
  3. Click the Download Template button which will start the download process.
  4. Open the SpreadSheet using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
  5. Enter one student Forename, Surname and Email Address or desired Username per row. (Changing the layout or column titles will cause issues when uploading)
  6. Save and exit the SpreadSheet.
  7. On Edumate, click Upload Template and select the saved template from your device.
  8. Verify all student details have been uploaded correctly and click Save.
